You Don’t Have to Go to Church to Connect With God

I’m a believer, but I don’t go to church.  I’ve tried to…it’s just not my thing.  And, I’m not knocking on anyone that does attend church.  I’ve discovered my own ways to connect to God: meditation, yoga, taking a drive through the mountains, and listening to music.  Every now and then, I’ll get one of those God winks that you just know that it came from a Higher place.  You can read about one of those experiences in my Spirit in the Sky post.  That’s how I know that God loves me.

You may ask: how do I know that I’m connected to God?  Do you ever feel that warm, giddy, elated feeling in your heart?  Whether it’s from reading an inspiring book that just speaks to you or looking at the stars & planets in the sky or even going fishing.  Anything that fills your heart with pure love and joy comes straight from God.  I get that high feeling from listening to music, my main love since birth.

Here’s some that make me feel connected to God every time I hear them:

Love & Light,
