First Friday’s in downtown Greenville are now my favorite part of the month! Every art studio is open to the public on the first Friday of every month in downtown Greenville and along Pendleton Street. Nearly all of the studios have hors d’oeuvres and wine. If you’re looking for an el cheapo date night option, here ya go.
I started the evening at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. Here are some of my favorites:
Maker’s Collective had a crafting station set up where you could embroider animals/constellations and take them home with you. I chose a fox. Excuse the slightly crumpled corners… It’ll look better in a frame 🙂
Next, I went to The Village Grind and got their new Lavender Reign drink: Earl Grey Lavender tea, a shot of espresso, and steamed milk. So delicious! Greenville newbies GB&D had a pop-up inside of The Village Grind. Free tacos!
This taco was so yummy that I had two of them. Mini braised brisket steamed buns with pickled veggies and kimchi mayo. GB&D will have a permanent home right next to The Village Grind very soon! I can’t wait to see what else they offer.
If you love looking at unique pieces of art, definitely check out the next First Friday in March.
